Murray County Medical Center in Slayton is offering a walk in Sports Physical event from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM on August 7th. Cost is $20 plus a food shelf donation. Summer Basketball Camp season is coming to an end. During the month of June between grades K-12 we have had around 130 kids in the gym throughout the week. The past two days our 3rd-12th grade girls and boys basketball players have had the privilege to work with skills trainer Shane Hennen-it was great workout for all and we are very grateful that Shane was willing to share his talents with us! Also want to take this time to thank Casey and Kelli Miller along with the high school girls basketball helpers for running our weekly K-2 camp. We had 50 campers for this weekly skills camp. Thank you to the parents and the student athletes for investing time and money into our basketball programs! Last day of 3rd-8th grade hoop league tomorrow to wrap up our youth summer programming! Congratulations to the MCC Girls Golf Team as they placed 4th as a team at the MSHSL State Meet held at Pebble Creek in Becker. They were 3 strokes out of 3rd place. Team members are: Ava Johnson (21st-177), Natalie Einck (32-183), Rachael Huso (33-185), Lizzie Daniels (60-203), Elysia Korver (70-215) and Theran Mannon (77-223). Rebel Proud!
