The MCC 7 on 7 football tournament has been cancelled for tomorrow due to teams dropping out and not enough for a tournament. If you signed up and would like your money refunded ($5) please contact Elissa Reinsma at the Community Education office or if you prefer for it to be a donation to the football program then no action is required. Thank you!

K-1 Playground upgrade at Central!


The K-1 playground upgrade at Central has been completed with a new base, underlayment, and wood chip surface. It is ready to go for the start of the school year!





If your 5th or 6th grade child is interested in playing tackle football through Community Ed., they are required to have a sport physical completed every three years. MCC will be providing sports physicals onsite during back-to-school registration in partnership with MCMC on August 6th and 7th. The cost is $25.

Sports Physicals will be offered @ MCC Schools during registration days Aug. 6-7. All forms have been emailed to parents in grades 5-12. All athletes in grades 5-12 must have a current physical (within the last 3 yrs) in order to play. All will be held in the new gym at Central.


Please check your email regarding important back to school registration information. As a reminder, registration is scheduled for Tuesday, August 6th from 4-7pm and Wednesday, August 7th from 11am-1pm in the new gym at Central High School. Please login to your JMC Parent Portal to update your information by August 1st.

Cheer tryouts will be located in the new gym!

Anyone in grades 7 through 12 who are interested in cheer this fall there will be a tryout tomorrow starting at 9:00am through 3:00pm in the MCC auditorium. There will be a lunch break from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Go Rebels!

MCC Schools wishes everyone a Happy 4th of July!


Anyone in 7th grade through 12th grade who is interested in trying out for cheer this fall, there will be a tryout held on July 10 from 9am to 3pm in the MCC Auditorium.

JH Volleyball

Weight room sessions 2 and 3 scheduled for today (Thursday June 27) is cancelled.

We have received many questions regarding what is happening in front of the school. The county is resurfacing 28th St. (county road) and they are also replacing side walk and curb/gutter for ADA compliance. The county will also be putting in a new sidewalk from King Ave. west to Juniper Ave. They should have the new sidewalks and curb/gutters replaced within the next few weeks.

Just a reminder about the time changes for those attending the SMSU Camp tomorrow at MCC. These changes were made to accommodate the number of athletes signed up for each grade level.
7:30am-9:00am: Athletes that have completed grades 5th-11th grade.
9:30-11:00am: Athletes that have competed K-4th grade.
