Good Afternoon,
Quarter 4 schedules have been sent out for your student. We will be having a book/materials pick up this Thursday from 7-8am, 12-1pm, and 5-6pm for students that need materials for new Q4 classes. Teachers will contact you if there are materials that need to be collected. Pick up will be curbside at the front HS doors. If you have any Q3 materials to return, you also may do so during this time. Thank you.

How we are feeling at MCC!

Distance Learning Transition Letter- Please review the attached letter for important information regarding the possible distance learning transition.
Dear MCC Elementary Parents/Guardians
As parents, teachers, school staff, bus drivers, school food service and loved ones of our kids - we are going into uncharted waters on a new journey. We will all encounter children today and in the days ahead who are confused and scared. Our students will be looking to all of us for comfort and peace. Continue to be a source of strength, consistency and calm reassurance that everything we are doing is to keep them safe and healthy. We will continue to work hard to do our best for our kids every day. We can do this together. Our kids are looking towards us to lead the way.
If school does not resume on Monday, March 30, and to keep the academic learning ongoing, MCC Elementary will be implementing Distance Learning by providing packets of work to complete. The plan is to pick up these packets on Mondays at West Elementary.
The staff has been busy preparing for Distance Learning this week and will continue this preparation next week. Each grade level is creating age appropriate learning activities for students. Activities will include all subject areas as well as games, enrichment and family time. Students will have required academic activities along with options/choices to enhance learning while staying safe and healthy during their absence from a regular classroom setting,
Please look for more detailed information next week.
Sincerely,
Todd Burlingame
MCC Elementary Principal

Daily Brief 2 - March 18, 2020

We would like to give a big shout out to the Murray County Dairy Association for their donation of milk at two of the basketball games this year. They also donated milk to the Coaches vs Cancer game that was canceled. That milk will now be delivered through the school lunches that will be handed out in the next few days! They totaled over $600 in milk donations throughout the three activities! Thank you MCDA! Rebel Pride!
