MCC Speech team competed in Subsections in Minneota. MCC placed 3rd overall as a team and all competitors will be competing at Sections next Saturday in Redwood Falls.
In Creative Expression, Agasi Nelso placed 3rd. In Discussion, Gary Plotz placed 6th. In Drama, Morgan Heezen placed 6th. In Duos, Courtney Gengler and Logan Stoel placed 6th. In Extemporaneous Speaking, Wesley Hause placed 3rd and Holland Vogel placed 5th. In Humor, Walker Biren placed 5th. In Original Oratory, Lila Scandrett placed 1st. In Prose, Annie Scandrett placed 2nd, Brecken Larson placed 4th, and Lilly Gertsema placed 5th. In Storytelling, Blaine Braun placed 2nd and Johanna Pickard placed 6th.

The varsity girls golf tournament in Worthington scheduled for Saturday has been moved to this Friday, April 4 due to the weather forecast. A shotgun start will be at 1:00pm.

The softball game against Lakeview scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 has been rescheduled to May 5. It will be a 4:30pm start for Varsity and JV.
